Soilrally® Azoto

Soilrally® Azoto contains Azotobacter as Nitrogen fixing bacteria (NFB), capable which is capable transforming atmospheric nitrogen into ammonium that is readily absorbable by roots. Nitrogen fixing ability of rhizosphere microorganisms is considered to be one of the most important traits associated with plant nitrogen nutrition and biological soil fertility. Nitrogen (N) is one of the major essential macronutrients for plants and is applied to soil in the form of nitrogen fertilizers. However, a large portion of soluble nitrogen applied to the soil as chemical fertilizer is leaches out rapidly and becomes unavailable to plants.

Mode of action:
Azotobacter contains nitrogenase enzyme which fixes it in the form of organic acids (Nitrate) and makes it available to the plants. So it reduces the required amount of Nitrogenous chemical fertilizer like Urea. It is also able to improve plant growth by synthesizing plant growth hormones such as Indole Acetic Acid (IAA), gibberellins, and cytokinins.
