Soilrally® Tricoplus

Soilrally® Tricoplus is a beneficial bio-fungicide capable to control root rot in cumin, Pigeon pea, Chickpea and vegetables, stem rot and pod rot of groundnut, wilt and red rot of sugarcane and damping off of vegetables. This bio-fungicide minimizes fungal from soil and improve the plant growth and yield. The product contains spores and mycelial fragments of Trichoderma and is available in water soluble powder formulation.

Mode of action:
The mechanism involved behind the biocontrol ability of Trichoderma is due to Production of Chitinase enzymes which help in degrading the cell wall of the fungal pathogen. It produces some antibiotics such as 6PAP (6-pentyl-α- pyrone), peptaibols, Trichodecenins, Trichorovins, Trichocellins, Dermadin, Trichoviridin, lignoren, Tricholongins which help to increase parasitism Ability on other fungal pathogens. It also Competes for nutrients and produces siderophores (iron chelating agents) which stop the growth of other Pathogenic fungi.
